- Collecting, collating and compiling data to inform on supply chain management policies, strategies, procedures, and regulations;
- Receiving and processing suppliers’ invoices for payment;
- Preparing procurement specifications;
- Inspecting condition of goods received;
- Preparing and reviewing Local Purchase Orders and Local Service Orders;
- Checking and verifying issue notes and invoices;
- Receiving and opening tenders and quotation documents;
- Preparing documents for supply chain management committees;
- Updating an inventory of procured equipment, services, vehicles and any other related machinery, goods and works.
- Undertaking market survey and research; and
- Providing support in the preparation of the annual procurement plan.
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: - Supply Chain Management and Logistics, Purchasing and Supplies Management, Procurement and Supplies Chain
- Served for a cumulative period of four (4) years relevant work experience.
- Membership to the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) or relevant professional body will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in computer application skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, email and video conferencing tools, internet research, basic data management, and awareness of cybersecurity practices;
- Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results; and
- Knowledge of data protection laws is an added advantage, and

iii. Successful candidates will be required to provide clearance from (a) Kenya Revenue Authority, (b) Higher Education Loans Board, (c) Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission, and (d) a Certificate of Good Conduct from Criminal Investigation Department.
